A leading Private Equity Real Estate firm is looking for a newly-qualified ACA (2016-2017) to join their Finance team in an incredibly broad junior Financial Controller role.

My client, a leading Private Equity firm are currently seeking a Financial Controller to join their London Finance team and work in a very hands-on role. The role will report to the CFO and includes the following responsibilities:

- Financial management of the management company, including but not limited to: 

  • Assisting with cash flow and budget management
  • Assisting with financial control and accounts payable tasks (including payroll, taxes, VAT, returns)
  • Accounting and book keeping
  • Assisting with Consolidation of accounts across multiple jurisdictions
  • Statutory reporting and coordination of annual audits
  • Assisting with setting and reviewing annual budgets, forecasts and re-forecasts
  • Maintaining accountancy and budgeting systems and policies

- Assisting with the asset management of current and future portfolio investments including but not limited to:

  • Accounting and other financial analysis tasks
  • Portfolio performance monitoring and management
  • Development and maintenance of financial models
  • Portfolio valuations
  • Support Acquisition and Legal teams in financial, tax and structuring due diligence

- Financial support and management of fund administration including but not limited to:

  • Liaising on a regular basis with overseas fund administration providers, external auditors, portfolio level finance teams
  • Maintaining the accounts of the fund and associated entities
  • Calculation of drawdowns and distributions
  • Investor and board reporting
  • Regulatory compliance
