Funds/Custody Account Manager, SGSS

* Identification and repair of accounting item discrepancies
* Be knowledgeable of the daily processes carried out by the team
* Be a contact for the clients and /or their counterparties in order to ensure timely settlement of cash and securities transactions
* Act as the communication link between the client and other middle office and back office functions in Paris and Nantes
* Suggest improvements in the processing of the operations and report the needs of the clients to management
* Participate in sessions with the Product Solution team to support definition of new services/products
* Participate in sessions with Client(s) during new client onboarding
* Be aware of changes in market practices and their impact upon the daily operations of Funds Custody Team
* Investigate claims received from clients or from counterparties
* Report any breaches on regulatory matters (CASS, COLL, etc) to the Operations Manager
* Management responsibilities will be required (currently 2 staff)


Profile:

* Previous experience in a top tier custody organisation
* Good operational knowledge of the areas of responsibility including previous Fund knowledge
* Strong supervisory skills
* Understanding of the risks and how to mitigate them
* Communication skills, etc)
* Regulatory knowledge especially (CASS, COLL, FUND, SYSC 8, etc)
* Strong understanding of the FCA's regulatory approach and principles of risk and compliance
* Flexibility  / Adaptability
