Our Client, an European Investment Management company, is looking for a Policy Governance Manager to work alongside the Head of department in providing management information to senior stakeholders and committees and in upholding oversight of the governance over policies. This is a maternity cover - Fixed Term Contract - 12 months - 4 days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing a team of people (development plan, 121, objectives, set deadlines...)
  • Defining and developing policy management and oversight processes
  • Represent the company at Prudential policy governance fora as required
  • Maintaining supportive working relationships all stakeholders across the business to support the embedding of policy governance and compliance.
  • Input into the development of training to embed policy understanding
  • Reviewing industry best practices
  • Managing the Annual Statement of Compliance certification process, ensuring Board level sign off of required documentation

 

Required:

  • People management experience
  • Proven track record of executive exposure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Influencing skills
  • Solid knowledge of policy governance processes, within financial services, compliance, operational or enterprise risk
  • Financial services background, ideally in Asset Management
