My client a leading investment bank with operations all over the globe is currently recruiting for a FCC Programme manager to join them on a contract basis in there London office. You’ll work on a major financial crime compliance programme with extensive impact on the bank.

My client a leading investment bank with operations all over the globe is currently recruiting for a FCC Programme manager to join them on a contract basis in there London office. You’ll work on a major financial crime compliance programme with extensive impact on the bank.

 

Skills

  • Sound understanding of the macro investment banking environment and industry initiatives, particularly around regulation
  • Proven track record of delivering significant change management programmes in a global Tier 1 Investment Banking environment
  • Familiarity with  investment banking processes associated with financial markets from origination, client on-boarding, sales and trading, Middle Office through to processing and booking, along with related control and infrastructure functions
  • Experience in large regulatory programmes with client impact (e.g. client outreach, client reporting, client reference data, client repapering)
  • Past experience in Know-your-Clients and Anti Financial Crime topics desirable
  • Exposure to Corporate Finance business and clients desirable
  • In-depth understanding and application of project management methodologies across the entire delivery lifecycle
  • Significant experience with standard PM tools, e.g.: MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Clarity

 

Responsibilities

  • Global responsibility for effective delivery of change to mitigate financial crime risk in Corporate Finance and Global Capital Markets (CF/GCM) businesses
  • Structuring and planning of the work against internal and external dependencies
  • Execution within these Front Offices of relevant communications, training, process & procedural changes, associated technology releases and data improvement strategies
  • Coordination of Front Office engagement as required by AFC and CIB workstreams
  • Operation of effective governance, including appropriate documentation, of the change delivery process and the testing of controls to evidence how specific regulatory, policy and audit requirements have been met
  • Status reporting on business progress against financial crime objectives, including regular delivery of relevant management information on CF/GCM change delivery objectives
  • Identification of and action to mitigate risks and issues associated with fulfilment of delivery milestones on time and to required quality
  • Working with GM executive stakeholders to represent CF/GCM interests/requirements in the wider program and at appropriate Project and Front Office forums
  • Working with change execution teams for Global Markets and Global Transactional Bank and with CIB management for efficient common ways of working and common solutions
