As a member of the Target Operating Model (TOM) and Organisational Design team, the focus is on supporting the delivery of the TOM for different Wealth Management areas and business activities / processes, identifying and prioritising areas for change. The emphasis is on defining organizational design principles, assessing / supporting alignment of current state and transformation initiatives to the defined principles and TOM. An understanding of business processes, workflows, roles and responsibilities, volumes of work, activity analysis and resources is important as a member of this team.

The Wealth Management Central Transformation function is seeking an Assistant Vice President or Associate to supplement its TOM and Organizational Design team in London. The Transformation team delivers projects across regulatory and risk, strategic change, IT, core platforms and digital as well as owning the business architecture and TOM design. The team ensures prioritisation of resources and implementation of best practice to ensure successful execution of the Wealth Management “Transform” agenda.   

Key Responsibilities :

  • Supporting the programme Vice President and Director in the planning and delivery of large scale programmes, proactively monitoring progress, identifying and escalating potential issues
  • Supporting the design and implementation of organisational change based on defined principles and standards
  • Interacting with third party contributors, supporting the management of dependencies, interfaces and risks for the programme’s successful outcome
  • Performing analysis and preparing presentations required for the different type of audiences (from Working Group to Wealth Management ExCO level)
  • Managing selected tasks / activities of the team book of work proactively and independently
  • Working in variety of team situations with need to communicate and coordinate 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Relevant education such as a BSc / MSc, or the equivalent work experience and qualifications
  • Relevant work experience, ideally with experience in Finance and Consultancy
  • Previous relevant experience working within a project environment with an understanding of different project management tools and techniques
  • Structured, organized and results-oriented approach, demonstrating a high level of diligence and attention to detail and the ability to ensure high quality and consistency in the deliverables produced to time and budget
  • Strong intellect, the ability to absorb information quickly and deal with complex and ambiguous situations
  • Ability to assess / analyse the business and financial impact of proposed initiatives and to make sound recommendations
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to use both written and oral communication to gain organizational support and enthusiasm for initiatives
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team player with high energy, drive and determination
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
