My client is a well-established and highly successful global alternative investment manager with a large global presence. With a strong track record of delivering consistent and strong returns for its clients, the company is a recognised market leader, offering a professional and positive working environment. Their London operations are now looking to hire 2 Real Estate Fund Accountants for their Real Estate Finance team due to growth and increased activity. The VP, who this role would report into, would be an ideal mentor for a real estate finance professional who wants to continue building their skills and overall experience.

Search criteria:

  1. Fully-qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with post-qualification experience working for a real estate fund (instead of a fund administration firm or a large institutional investor). As a guide the team are looking for those in the Newly-Qualified up to 3-4 years post-qualification range
  2. Must possess a strong understanding of Real Estate. The hiring manager is ideally wanting to bring on board an individual who they don’t need to explain the mechanics and fundamentals of Real Estate to (i.e. what is a capital call, a distribution, the fundamentals of cash management). Candidates can be currently in a Real Estate fund accounting role or in a Big 4 (or Top 10 practice) dealing with Real Estate/Private Equity/Investment Management clients in practice
