Regional Sales Executive
The Role: Work with UK and Europe's leading Financial Technology, Corporations, and Consulting Firms to identify business challenges ranging from M&A Strategy, Credit/Risk Framework, Big Data Strategy, Know Your Client (KYC), IFRS9 compliance and more.
Once you have identified these challenges, you will engage S&P Global's leading Product Specialist team to help recommend and co-design solutions drawing from our best-in-class products and services.
Ultimate responsibility for developing and executing the business strategy in your market.
The Impact: This role will contribute both in revenue growth and strategy development for our fastest growing client segment. With recent investments in Artificial Intelligence, we are looking for innovators who can help to establish S&P Global as the leading partner in Financial Technology and Data Analytics.
The Career Opportunity: Success in this role will visibly position you as a business leader capable of engaging a broad range of clients up to the Executive level. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate not only superb client interaction, but also effective delegation and request for resources across Marketing, Product and Operations.
Travel to markets across Europe, and exposure to the exciting disruption taking place in Financial Technology.

- Build and execute a new business sales plan for designated territory
- Establish appointments with senior level executives of these organizations
- Stay current with industry news and issues to understand the potential impact to your current prospects
- Coordinate with Product Specialist team to design and demonstrate solutions
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing
- Transition new clients to the Relationship Management team
- Develop industry specific knowledge necessary to have credible diagnostic conversations
- Maintain focused approach to daily sales activity and pipelines
- Work closely with Relationship Managers to team sell to existing accounts
Background in or strong understanding of financial analysis
Ambition, passion, drive and a hunger for sales
Confidence in cold calling and dealing with C-Level executives over the phone or in person
Strong interpersonal skills
Proficiency in MS Office
