My client, a leading bank in London are looking for a Relationship Director to cover their Business Services clients. The role:
- Manage and build upon a portfolio of UK mid-large cap corporate clients, with a turnover from £50 to £1.5 billion turnover
- The role will be reporting to the banks UK head of Business Services clients
- Develop a strategic sector plan
- Work on deepening existing client relationships and acquiring new business
- Manage key stakeholders within the bank
- Keep up to date with industry trends
- Mentor and develop more junior members of the team
- Origination disciplines, including director calling, marketing, social media influencing and gaining referrals
- Gain a thorough understanding of the banks processes and solutions
- Create a strong personal brand, and use your excellent communication and BD skills to originate new business and drive results
Experience and skills required:
- You will need to have credible experience as a Relationship Director at another bank
- You will need to have experience looking after clients in the UK with a turnover between £300m and £1 billion turnover
- Strong BD skills are essential for this role
- Excellent communication skills
- Good credit knowledge
- Strong product knowledge
- Top performer, results driven
- Thorough understanding of banking processes
- Knowledge of one of the following sectors: Business Services, TMT, Consumer or Professional Services is desired
- You will need to be a team player, and also be interested in leadership
- International experience is desired but not essential
