Senior Financial Manager/Director- Residential Real Estate

We are looking for a qualified senior Finance Manager/Director who has extensive experience of managing cash flows in the real estate sector, as well as experience in sourcing financing for projects of up to £10-150 millions in value, particularly those projects that are high end residential or mixed use developments.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Source financing for projects of up to £150 million in value
  • Manage cash flows across multiple projects
  • Providing strategic advice and guidance on opportunities, financing, forecasting, and cash flows from projects
  • Undertaking risk appraisals of projects and accurate project/management reporting
  • Maintaining project budgets

The Successful Applicant

  • Desirably fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) – Verbal
  • Fluent in English Written & Verbal
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
  • First class management and relationship skills
  • Highly motivated and a self-starter
  • Highly commercial

Skills Knowledge and Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Finance Manager/Director working within a real estate developer (ideally one of the top ten) or within the real estate financing department for a financial institution
  • Experience in sourcing financing for projects of up to £150 million in value, ideally within high end projects with a selling price of £1,000 + per sq ft, and preferably on large scale residential and commercial projects [for example over 200 residential or mixed use units] in Central London 
  • ccountancy qualification advantageous
  • Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and meet strict deadlines
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, including the ability to juggle multiple tasks
  • An analytical mind with excellent problem-solving and mathematical ability
  • Leadership skills as well as the ability to work well within a team of other professionals
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Excellent modelling and appraisal skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
