Senior Fund Controller (Rapid Progression - Excellent Total Compensation)

One of the leading names in the hedge fund world in Europe is looking for a Fund Controller to join their senior and established team to manage their multi-billion dollar AuM.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the leading names in the hedge fund world in a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging environment. They manage large AuM across a variety of strategies.

The role is part of a small team working alongside the CFO where there will be a small element of accounting/reporting as they have a largely automated system/process and you will work alongside the best developers to continually improve the processes and systems. The remainder of the role will be spent looking at analytical analysis around trading strategies and risk, fund launches, oversight of third parties (administrators and auditors), as well as some desk facing responsibilities and execution.

The successful individual will have excellent academics and be a qualified accountant. Ideally, you will have worked on the buy-side but the individual is what is most important. To attract the best they are prepared to pay exceptional compensation. Bonuses can easily exceed 100%.

Requirements

  • Excellent academics (2.1 from Russell Group minimum)
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Strong product knowledge from buy side or IB
  • Ideally buy-side fund accounting experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interest in financial markets
  • Hard working and ambitious
