Senior Geotechnial Engineer - Offshore Wind
Our Green Investment Group's global offshore wind business is responsible for the successful management and delivery of a pipeline of 15+ GW of offshore wind projects, the origination of new opportunities and partnerships as well as the provision of asset management and advisory services to third party investors.
To support our next phase of growth, you will join the Head of Civil Engineering's team as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer initially focusing on a 1.5GW Offshore wind portfolio, where you will play a key part in our current and future wind projects and their development. You will be responsible to develop, implement and communicate a clear technology driven strategy within own area and closely work together with key stakeholders for technical engineering solutions and define the future of geo technical solutions.
You will have experience in generating technical scopes of work for survey services during construction and in the tender process whilst also reviewing and supporting the layout development and decisions. You will provide expertise on survey and ground conditions for installation packages and lead in standardising geodetic parameters, survey methodologies, and existing documentation between packages.
You will have demonstrable experience in continuous development and improvement of processes, documentation and methods required to ensure efficient and best practice design and interfaces.
You will have a bachelor's degree in geoscience, coupled with at least five years of professional and engineering experience from a related offshore industry, onshore wind or complex experience within the energy, power plants, infrastructure or the construction industry.
