Working with institutional investors, banks, insurance companies, governments and multinational corporations, Securities Services offers a range of fund administration, global custody, sub-custody and clearing, and corporate trust and loan agency services.

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Securities Services team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

Key Responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Providing comprehensive analytical and design support to the Global Product Management function residing within HSBC Securities Services (HSS)
  • The Global Product Management team is responsible for the definition, design and maintenance of products and services across our key markets in order to achieve revenue growth, cost management and principles of global standards
  • In this position you will offer extensive technical expertise within their respective Product Management functional teams in order to support strategic developments that are aligned to the HSBC Group & HSBC Securities (HSS) business priorities
  • The role sits within a Global Product Management organisation within HSS, representing: Global Custody and Fund Services, alongside Corporate Trust & Loan Agency, Global Trustee & Fiduciary Services and Banks and Broker servicing

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Extensive Securities Services career background in a product, service delivery, change management or IT functions
  • Minimum of 7 years expertise in a business technical domain and ability to demonstrate change and value
  • Sufficient understanding of the Product Management lifecycle and Business Operating model components
  • Ability to work in a matrix team and exhibit a structured and effective approach to producing detailed deliverables
  • Ability to work under pressure on time bound initiatives and communicating effectively across the organisation
