SharePoint Engineer, Internal Services – Regions - 12 month FTC
We are looking for a SharePoint engineer to support Deloitte through a period of exciting change.
The Deloitte UK SharePoint team support a number of on-premise platforms which are in the process of being migrated to SharePoint Online. Over the next 12 months, we require an all-round SharePoint engineer who is able to support both the front-end and back-end, but with a particular emphasis on the front-end. In parallel to this, Deloitte are moving to M365, so there will be an opportunity to be involved in migration work to SharePoint Online.

Working with a dynamic and diverse team in several geo-locations, you will be responsible for supporting the business with front-end administration, as well as the maintenance and support on several on-premise SharePoint 2013 platforms.

- Work closely with practitioners and vendors to provide application support and assistance for solutions related to SharePoint services
- Provide input in to evaluation, design, and integration of new technologies into SharePoint Front End
- Engagement with SharePoint technical team to ensure operational alignment with proffered customisations
- Clear documentation and communication on proffered customisation to ensure continuity of support throughout the SharePoint team
- Technical Service (Secondary Support)
- Provide assistance to the Technical SharePoint Team operating under a best practice, ITIL framework during absences and major incidents in 3rd line support for SharePoint services.

- Java script
- Basic knowledge of SharePoint Farm Configuration and infrastructure components
- Basic understanding of SCOM or other systems management tools
- Sound understanding of the ITIL framework
- PowerShell Scripting experience to improve automation of processes
- Experience of delivering operational services to end user
- Experience of customising sites and creating workflows using SharePoint Designer
- Experience of managing SharePoint security as well as creating and supporting InfoPath forms
- Experience in business facing interactions to understand their needs and requirements
- Supports and solicits input from team members at all levels within the organisation
- SharePoint 2013/SharePoint 2010 working knowledge of application front end, including SharePoint on premise and online services
