My client is a multi-strategy hedge fund looking for a talented individual to join their Core Technology Team as a Software Engineer
Responsibilities
- Hands on development or enhancements for middle / back office applications managed by technology team. This could be a team effort or single handed based on nature of the project.
- Close collaboration with global counterparts to ensure maximum reuse of effort
- Work closely with Operations & Compliance to gather requirements & receive feedback
- Own applications in production globally and provide 3rd level application support
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Engineering
- 2+ years Python on Linux and SQL databases
- 2+ years knowledge of trading, settlement and/or market data interfaces
- 2+ years of exposure to scalable, geographically distributed and high availability architectures
- Experience with applications supporting reporting or reconciliation
