Software Engineer - VP and Associate

Salary: £120,000+ (VP) & £80,000 (AS)

Location: London, UK

Our client is one of the top 10 largest North American investment banks and a leading financial services provider, who offer corporate and investment banking, treasury management, as well as research and advisory services to clients around the world.

They have 2 current openings for Software Engineers at both VP and Associate levels to join the global front office team as their first London hires in this team.

They are expanding their American offering to the UK, which means there will be great opportunity for growth and progression.

Responsibilities include:

• Working with the Quants team on the analytics library
• Directly interacting with, the trading desks that use the applications you build
• Develop the feeds for market data and trades
• Working on the state-of-the-art electronic rates trading platform
• Working independently when out of North America hours
• Testing, automation, metrics and monitoring

Requirements:

• Strong developer in one of the following: Java, C#, JavaScript or Python
• Highly motivated
• Independent worker
• Financial background is not required but advantageous
