Structured Finance Transaction Manager - Cash Management

I am partnering with a growing financial services firm and corporate trust business, who is looking for a Structured Finance Transaction Manager to join their Capital Markets team based in London. The successful candidate will support and actively manage back and middle office functions for various capital markets products and be responsible for the ongoing administration for a designated portfolio of transactions and report to the Head of Capital Markets Servicing UK who will provide oversight and guidance. The role requires someone with a degree qualification combined with 1-3 years' experience performing a similar role and experience across all key areas of the day to day responsibilities highlighted below.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as primary owner of assigned deals.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day duties across the portfolio including funds transfer, account reconciliation, production of investor reports, preparation of waterfall distribution and responding to client queries.
  • Delegating workload to relevant operational team.
  • Calculate and perform the required coverage, profile and concentration tests.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of all relevant portfolios and deal related documentation.
  • Liaison with clients, external transaction parties and internal deal teams to ensure the smooth setup and ongoing management of the transaction.
  • Responsible for the accurate recordkeeping and execution of all cash management activities.
  • Review of transaction documentation at the deal set up stage and for transaction obligations after the closing of a transaction, establish necessary procedures for on-going management of the transaction.
  • Dealing with amendment/waiver/consent requests from the clients.
  • Ensuring that annual reviews, billing and other internal controls are conducted and observed.
  • Developing a working relationship with clients, law firms, investments banks and other industry professionals.
  • Help mentor, support and develop the junior team members.
  • Maintaining management information systems and processes for individual transactions.
  • Assist with internal KYC and on-boarding processes.
