Description of the Business Line or Department
Societe Generale Global Transaction Banking (GTB) includes Payment & Cash Management (PCM), Cash Clearing services, Trade services and Factoring as well as the FX services associated to these activities.

Summary of the key purposes of the role
KYC Client Outreach Officer should be an expert helping GTPS team regarding to the Know Your Customer (KYC) Review Process.
As such, within the Middle-Office team, the role holder is:
  • Facilitator of the KYC Review Process from start to end for GTPS team:
    • Is Owner of the data quality in the KYC review workflow within the team.
    • Coordinates the whole process (has a 360° view)
      • Main point of contact for the KYC review process
      • Participate to ad hoc meetings with KYC team ("CLIC") to enhance and control the process
    • Is accountable for the KYC review due date
      • Completion on time of the KYC review of the counterparties
      • Raise alerts to the team and the stakeholders, when relevant
  • Simplify process by removing unnecessary layers of complexity, the role holder is in charge of:
    • Monitoring the requests coming from KYC analysts or Relationship Managers
    • Document preparation & control
    • Client outreach
    • Documentation quality and certification
    • Coordination / Facilitation of the whole process (cf. 1)
  • In charge of monitoring performance and leading continuous improvement actions
  • Participate in all relevant trainings ensuring exchange of best practice with other European GTPS desks.
  • Ability to prioritize and 'smooth' workload to meet business demands
  • The role holder may also be requested to fulfil other Middle Office tasks to achieve a steady workload

    Profile Required

    • The candidate needs to have basic knowledge in wholesale banking, transaction banking & KYC
    • Ability to prioritize, spot, understand and solve issues, develop and recommend alternatives or solutions.
    • International mindset.
    • Good interpersonal skills including ability to establish and maintain good working relationships both internally and externally.
    • Ability to escalate in an adequate manner.
    • Administrative, organizational and time management skills.
    • Above average written and verbal communication skills.
    • Team player
    • Good knowledge of MS OFFICE (Excel, Word, Power Point)
    • The candidate needs to show flexibility and capacity to understand quickly. He/she needs to be autonomous and to take responsibility of his/her job. He/she needs to have initiative, propose solutions and ideas, considering client needs
