A multinational banking and financial services company is looking for a Transfers Analyst to join their team for a 3 months contract in London.

 

The key purposes of the role:

 

This role is required to support the client transitions process on the company`s wealth management platform.

The key objectives are:

  • Processing of the wealth client securities transfers for both onboarding and offboarding activities for all asset types
  • Management and request of the client cash transfers
  • Support other teams within SBO (Securities Banking Operations) in other operational activities when required

 

Summary of responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for client account transfers. The Free of Payment transactions processed will include Equities, Bonds and Funds on the SGSS wealth management back office outsourcing service.
  • Monitors operational risks (e.g. exceptions follow-up, pending/in-flight transfers) 
  • Participates in projects to support the business line
  • Request of new counterparty SSIs as required
  • Assisting management in the implementation of policies and procedures
  • Assisting other operational teams as volumes dictate
  • Liaising with the global custody team and external counterparities on specific transactions to ensure highest level of transactions settlement success
  • Maintain stock and cash reconciliations in line with agreed targets (investigate and resolve exceptions)
  • Provide feedback to immediate supervisor/manager on specific transaction issues
  • Liaise with Correspondents to resolve transaction/workflow issues
  • Initiate new ideas and solutions to improve productivity, increase STP rates and provide cost saving initiatives

 

Requirements / technical knowledge:

 

  • Operational knowledge of wealth management back office services
  • JHC Figaro back office and front office systems experience
  • UK and international FOP transfers processing experience
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • A flexible attitude and adaptable approach
  • Organised and able to prioritise work appropriately
  • Able to work autonomously and use initiative where appropriate
  • Analytical Skills
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team
