Treasury Systems Manager

As Treasury Systems Manager you will be responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the company’s Treasury systems. You will also have the chance to get involved in a variety of projects, giving you exposure to many other areas of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the Treasury Front Office, Treasury Control team and Business Support Centre have effective, appropriate, up to date, reliable and secure IT systems to support Treasury operations and the accounting for Treasury transactions.
  • Ensuring controls within and around all Treasury systems are appropriate, system interfaces support straight through processing and automated treasury reporting is maximised.
  • Optimisation and continuous improvement, to enable the Treasury department to carry out their work effectively and efficiently with minimal manual intervention.
  • As a Treasury systems subject matter expert, you will have responsibility for leading the development and optimisation of the systems, and will play a key role in influencing the future direction of the systems and platform.

Requirements

  • Treasury / Accounting / IT qualifications desirable.
  • Strong understanding of treasury instruments and structures, along with an in-depth knowledge of IT systems.
  • Extensive Treasury Systems experience and a proven track record of IT project management, implementing treasury systems and managing upgrades and process improvements.
  • Proven working knowledge of formal change control procedures to protect the on-going operational integrity of Treasury Systems.
