The Project Accountant will be the accounting lead for Quilter’s IFD Project.

About the role

Some of the key responsibilities of this role are the following:

  • Co-ordinating and running Quilter’s IFD Project.
  • Preparing a gap analysis by mapping the new requirements against existing reporting processes, systems and documentation.
  • Preparing a detailed project plan for the IFD Project.
  • Interpreting regulatory requirements under the IFD regime and ensuring appropriate technical documentation is prepared and maintained.
  • Designing and implementing a robust internal control environment to safeguard the quality of Quilter’s IFD reporting.
  • Planning and co-ordinating dry runs and parallel runs of reporting under the IFD regime.
  • Driving changes to reporting systems and processes required in order to comply with the IFD regime.

About you

We are looking for an individual with the following:


  • Experience of delivering projects related to financial reporting
  • Understanding and experience of regulatory reporting
  • Good knowledge of IFRS accounting standards
  • Strong communication and interpretation skills and in particular an ability to cut through complexity
  • Experience of process improvement activity
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office


  • Experience of regulatory reporting on behalf of a listed international financial services group.
  • Experience of financial reporting software being used by Quilter (including CDM and HFM)
