Customer Service Advisor needed for an initial 9 month contract based in Swindon

Our Contingent Workforce Solutions (CWS) service acts as an extension of our clients' recruitment team and provides professional interim and temporary resources.

On behalf of Nationwide, AMS are looking for Customer Advisor for a 9 month contract based in Swindon.

Purpose of the Role:

As a Customer Advisor at Nationwide, you'll be making their members' lives easier and helping them to make the big decisions for their future.

As a Customer Advisor, you will be responsible for:

  • You will deliver excellent customer service to our customers
  • You'll need to have an eye for detail, a high degree of accuracy and enjoy working as part of a team in a busy environment
  • Taking inbound calls from members regarding bereavement - 80-100 calls a day within a team of 19 processing of calls- registering the details of death notice, obtaining information and updating systems.

What we require from you:

  • Strong admin and telephony experience
  • Excellent listening and communication skills (both written and verbal) with experience of interacting positively with people of all levels
  • Have empathy
  • A desire to go above and beyond for our customers and provide them with an exceptional service
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Excel
  • A desire to learn new things and to work in a fast-paced flexible working environment
  • A committed team player with a flexible and collaborative approach, open to new ideas and ways of working
  • Ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement

Please Note:

  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm, Saturday 9-12 (working 1 in 3 Saturdays)
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Interviews due to take place commencing 24th August

Training will last for 5 weeks, during this period you are unable to take any Holidays.
