What you'll do
As a Credit Delivery Corporate Manager, you'll provide insight and trend data to help shape the new business agenda, contribute to credit report writing and risk modelling, and support the team with post deal handover for existing and new business.
You'll also exercise personal authority through business approvals, owning the end-to-end credit delivery process, and acting as a point of contact for stakeholders to make sure that information is shared, timescales are adhered to, and escalations are effectively managed. In doing so, you'll deliver a timely and accurate handover to allow activity to commence once credit delivery activity is concluded.

We're looking for someone with a strong understanding and experience in the application of risk management disciplines, alongside credit skills suitable for the origination and stewardship of larger and more complex customer exposures. You also need to be experienced in analysing complex financial information and identifying or structuring appropriate solutions.
A background in the banking or finance industry within a regulatory and commercial environment is essential. You must also have the ability to operate in large and diverse professional teams, along with a solid understanding of corporate and commercial credit risk and lending principles.

What you'll do
As a Credit Delivery Corporate Manager, you'll provide insight and trend data to help shape the new business agenda, contribute to credit report writing and risk modelling, and support the team with post deal handover for existing and new business.

In doing so, you'll deliver a timely and accurate handover to allow activity to commence once credit delivery activity is concluded.
In addition, you'll be:
- Leading the definition of the statement of appetite and risk exposure strategy, managing credit report writing and risk modelling, and ensuring consideration of capital optimisation during deal structuring
- Providing input into capital allocation and approvals, liaising with senior colleagues, and maintaining the balance sheet within set parameters including sector appetite, risk profile, and return hurdles
- Supporting the portfolio management operating model, while delivering efficient service and managing transactions and post-deal handover for larger and more complex customers
- Managing key stakeholder relationships to enable consistently good customer outcomes through timely and accurate decision-making in line with business goals
- Working with stakeholders to build and strengthen customer relationships, ensuring a best-in-market customer experience, and supporting coverage and other functions in delivering for customers
- Contributing to a diverse and cohesive team culture, supporting portfolio management, and delivering credit delivery activity for larger and more complex customer portfolios
- Operating within KPI frameworks and leadership principles to maximise efficiency and effectiveness, completing tasks in a timely manner or escalating as appropriate

- A strong understanding of how regulatory, political, reputational, and environmental issues impact the division
- Knowledge of relevant legal policies, regulatory and statutory obligations, banking systems, processes, products, and customer and sector specialisms
- The ability to work with limited supervision on routine credit delivery activities while meeting client deadlines and expectations
- A Chartered Banker Diploma in Lending Skills
