D365 Finance & Operations Solution Architect | Outside IR35 | £800/day | UK-Based | Regular Travel to London & Paris | French speaking



We're supporting a major international finance transformation programme and are seeking an experienced
D365 Finance & Operations Solution Architect to help shape the future-state ERP landscape for a complex, multi-country organisation.



This role sits within the strategy and design phase of the programme, providing a unique opportunity to influence architectural decisions, business process transformation, and implementation planning before delivery begins.




Key Responsibilities

• Define the future-state D365 F&O solution architecture


• Lead finance and operational process discovery workshops


• Shape the ERP roadmap and target operating model


• Drive Global Chart of Accounts and financial dimensions design


• Assess and define the integration landscape and strategy


• Provide architectural guidance across finance, operations, and technology workstreams


• Support transition architecture, implementation planning, and business case development


• Engage with senior business and technology stakeholders across multiple regions

Key Areas of Focus

• D365 Finance & Operations architecture


• Finance transformation and process design


• Integration strategy and architecture


• POS integrations


• WMS integrations


• Core model assessment and optimisation


• Implementation roadmap development


• Enterprise-scale operating model design

Essential Experience

• Extensive Microsoft D365 F&O architecture experience


• Strong understanding of finance processes and ERP transformation


• Experience defining solution architecture within large-scale transformation programmes


• Proven stakeholder engagement skills at leadership level


• Fluent French and English


• Ability to travel regularly to London and Paris

Contract Details

• Location: UK-based


• Travel: Regular monthly travel to London and Paris


• Start: September


• Duration: Initial contract until January 2027 with likely extension


• Day Rate: Circa £800 per day


• Status: Outside IR35
