We're looking for a Digital Finance Accounts Assistant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with finance administration, bookkeeping, purchase ledger, or accounts assistant experience who is keen to develop their skills within a modern, technology-driven finance environment.




Key Responsibilities



As a Digital Finance Accounts Assistant, you'll support clients with a variety of outsourced finance and bookkeeping activities while helping them embrace digital accounting solutions. Working closely with colleagues and clients, you'll ensure financial records are accurate, up to date, and delivered to the highest standard.



This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, has strong attention to detail, and is passionate about using technology to improve finance processes.

• Processing purchase and sales invoices accurately and efficiently


• Managing bank reconciliations and investigating discrepancies


• Assisting with payment runs and supplier payments


• Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records using cloud accounting software


• Processing and reconciling employee expenses


• Preparing VAT returns and supporting compliance requirements


• Managing client finance inboxes and responding to queries


• Supporting month-end and year-end accounting processes


• Assisting with management accounts preparation


• Helping clients transition to and make best use of digital accounting systems


• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies through technology


• Building and maintaining strong client relationships

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise



We're looking for someone who:

• Is currently studying AAT Level 3 or AAT Level 4


• Has some experience in an accounts, bookkeeping, finance administration or accounts assistant role


• Has strong numerical and analytical skills


• Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and accuracy


• Is comfortable using accounting software and Microsoft Excel


• Has strong organisational and time management skills


• Enjoys learning new systems and technologies


• Has a positive, proactive approach and a willingness to learn


• Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team


• Has strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset
