This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced application support professional with exposure to core banking systems and banking operations. You will play a key role in supporting and maintaining critical banking applications while ensuring system stability, performance, and availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 application support for core banking systems and related banking applications.
- Monitor, triage, and resolve incidents, service requests, and technical issues in a timely manner.
- Support the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the Ultracs Core Banking System.
- Investigate system alerts and escalate issues to internal teams or external vendors where required.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support processes.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding the status of incidents and requests.
- Assist with disaster recovery, business continuity, and emergency support activities.
- Monitor system performance and availability to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Ensure all activities adhere to risk management, compliance, and governance requirements.
- 2+ years' experience in Application Support, Technical Support, or Banking System Support.
- Experience supporting banking applications or financial services platforms.
- Exposure to Core Banking Systems, preferably Ultracs or similar platforms.
- Understanding of payment systems and banking operations.
- Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working within ITIL-based environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with business users, vendors, and technical teams.
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline.
- ITIL Certification (highly regarded).
- Experience supporting Banking Systems, Payment Services, and Core Banking Applications.
- Prior exposure to Ultracs Core Banking Application Support will be highly advantageous.
