Job Description
- Responsible for providing IT Onsite operations and support to the internal users in a fast paced financial business environment.
- Maintain a stable desktop infrastructure and deliver consistency IT services.
- Responsible for handling day-to-day events and incidents with proper incident management process applied in order to meet the service level defined by IT management.
- Supervise local vendors on delivering IT support services.
- Responsible for executing certain deployment activities to ensure new/changes to applications are carried out in production and DR environments.
- Providing support and administration for: Server & Hub rooms, Physical cabling, Servers Monitoring, Storage, backup and data replication system support, Certain Networks knowledge, End user computing (including desktops, laptops, Blackberry, mobile solutions), 3rd party systems and market data systems like Bloomberg, MarketMap.
- Tertiary education in IT related areas.
- At least 3 years working experience in a client-facing IT helpdesk environment.
- Strong command of both spoken and written English and Cantonese, Mandarin is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Desktop environment (Windows 10), with basic understanding of MS Server environment (Server 2008) and Active Directory
- Broad understanding of networking protocols and administration
- Personal and Social: Proactive attitude and work ethics, Good interpersonal skills, telephone manners, and service attitude;
- Ability to maintain outstanding service level in time-sensitive situations.
- Ability to train users, resolve problems and handle complaints.
