Low Latency C++ Developer - Shanghai

Role Overview:
The purpose of this position is to develop and maintain the firm's low-latency exchange connectivity and trading algorithms. The successful candidate will work closely with quantitative analysts and traders to implement and optimize core trading infrastructure that supports a variety of derivatives and delta-one products in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Key Skills & Experience:
• 8+ years of C++ server-side development experience on Linux
• Strong understanding of multithreading, network socket programming, and low-latency techniques
• Proven experience developing automated trading systems or exchange connectivity
• Experience with Kafka is a plus
• Solid data analysis skills
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop low-latency exchange connectivity and trading algorithms, including quoting, hedging, and arbitrage strategies
• Collaborate with quants and traders to define trading algorithm behaviors
• Design and implement high-performance C++ applications for trading infrastructure
• Conduct thorough testing of code, including automation and code reviews
• Provide tier 3 support for trading systems

Requirements:
• University degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 8+ years of C++ development experience on Linux, preferably C++14 or later
• Strong technical design skills and understanding of multithreading, socket programming, and low-latency optimization
• Experience with automated trading systems or exchange connectivity
• Knowledge of Kafka is advantageous
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Willingness to work on-site in Shanghai
