This role sits within the DTOG team and supports Market Controllers by enabling advanced analytics, intelligent automation, and technology-led process transformation across the International Controllership organization. The role partners with Technology, FAA, regional SPoCs, FTDT, EDP, process owners, SMEs, and international stakeholders to identify opportunities, shape solutions, and implement scalable process improvements.
Role Summary
The Financial Systems Analyst I will contribute to end-to-end automation and analytics delivery, from initial discovery and solution design through development, system integration testing, debugging, deployment support, and ongoing enhancement. The position requires a collaborative, solution-oriented colleague who is comfortable solving complex business issues, translating process needs into technical solutions, and supporting transformation across finance and reporting processes.

Role Summary
The Financial Systems Analyst I will contribute to end-to-end automation and analytics delivery, from initial discovery and solution design through development, system integration testing, debugging, deployment support, and ongoing enhancement. The position requires a collaborative, solution-oriented colleague who is comfortable solving complex business issues, translating process needs into technical solutions, and supporting transformation across finance and reporting processes.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, document, and maintain technical processes and solutions that improve control, scalability, efficiency, and user experience.
- Create end-to-end development roadmaps, track delivery milestones, monitor risks, and report progress to stakeholders.
- Partner with Technology, FAA, regional SPoCs, FTDT, EDP, process owners, SMEs, and international colleagues to deliver automation and analytics initiatives within Controllership.
- Assess existing processes with business owners, identify transformation opportunities, and redesign workflows using fit-for-purpose technology solutions.
- Coordinate with SMEs and Technology teams to resolve issues, remove roadblocks, conduct robust testing, support parallel runs, and enable deployment through standard technology processes.
- Prepare process-owner and technical support documentation to enable sustainable handover and operational continuity.
- Support broader DTOG governance activities and transformation priorities for International Controllership as required.
Critical Factors to Success:
- Proven experience in automation, analytics, process improvement, and technology-enabled delivery using the tools listed under Technical Skills and Capabilities.
- Ability to understand functional requirements, system flows, process dependencies, and control considerations, then design optimal solutions aligned with business strategy.
- Strong technical ownership across the software development lifecycle, including design, build, testing, debugging, deployment, documentation, and support.
- Demonstrated FinTech and finance transformation knowledge with the ability to deliver practical, end-to-end automated solutions.
- Intellectual rigor, structured problem solving, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Qualifications
Academic Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Software Systems, or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise across digital transformation, intelligent automation, analytics, and Generative AI capabilities.
- Expert technical skills aligned to the Technical Skills and Capabilities section are mandatory.
Technical Skills/Capabilities:
- 3+ years of relevant experience with strong technical & analytical skills.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate (Desktop & Cloud), Power Apps, Power BI, and Dataverse for enterprise automation and application development.
- Power Automate: Multi-step, condition-based flows integrated with SharePoint, Outlook, APIs etc.
- Power Apps: Responsive, low-code applications with embedded business logic and data connectors.
- Power BI: Real-time dashboarding, DAX modeling, Power Query, and integration with GCP and SQL-based data sources.
- Strong coding & debugging skills in VBA programming, Macro coding, object model, and event-driven programming for automating complex financial workflows and data transformation pipelines within Microsoft Office environments. Expertise in Power-Query, DAX and SharePoint.
- Strong Python coding skills, data types, control flow, exception handling, file I/O, and modular programming.
- Mastery in SQL, BigQuery with ability to write and debug complex queries.Query tuning using indexes and caching strategies.
- Hands-on knowledge of MS Access, PostgreSQL databases.
- Visualization Tools - Tableau, Power BI.
- Ability to write clean, modular, and optimized code using best practices.
- Familiarity with Unix Shell scripting.
- Strong familiarity with finance and reporting platforms including Oracle, Essbase/SmartView, Flare, OAS, FODL, Lumi, TM1, Axiom, Cognos, GlobeStar, and Workiva (for internal candidates).
