Credit Portfolio Manager A Dublin based Asset Manager is looking for a Senior Credit Portfolio Manager with the role reporting to the Chief Investment Officer. The focus in on Developed Market Investment Grade cash bonds with a strong bias on EMEA.

The Role

As Senior Credit Portfolio Manager your main responsibilities will be but are not limited to the following:

  • Contribute to the performance of existing multi-asset and bond funds
  • Contribute to existing liability-driven portfolios through improved risk-adjusted asset returns
  • Contribute to existing and new asset-driven propositions
  • Contribute to the in-house team's asset allocation group which drives asset allocation in its multi-asset portfolios
  • Demonstrate security analysis capabilities
  • Build credit portfolios for the relevant portfolios and execute the trading activity with clear respect for mandate requirements
  • Contribute to written or verbal commentary for investment committees or advisors and clients as required

Skills And Experience

  • Strong academic background: Bachelor-level degree preferably in economics, finance, business or related disciplines
  • CFA charter-holder status is preferable
  • At least 10 years' experience in direct management of credit portfolios .
  • Experience of liability-driven and third-party client portfolios
  • Strong knowledge of credit asset universe
  • Good understanding of financial products' environment
  • Thorough understanding of fixed income portfolio management
  • Track record of direct management of credit portfolios
  • Fundamental credit analysis skills
  • Portfolio construction skills
  • Strong knowledge of credit asset universe
  • Demonstrable understanding of liability-driven investing and client fund investing
