A leading global investment management firm is seeking an Associate / Senior Associate to support strategic projects and change initiatives across APAC trading desks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an investment operations or middle office background who wants broader exposure to regional markets, trading, and cross-functional stakeholders.
In this role, you will:
- Support the delivery of market, product, regulatory, and operational change initiatives across APAC.
- Partner with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Operations, Technology, Legal, and Compliance teams.
- Analyse business requirements and trade lifecycle workflows to deliver practical solutions.
- Coordinate with brokers, custodians, and external service providers to drive successful implementation.
- Work on high-impact initiatives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
We're looking for:
- 3-5 years' experience in investment operations, middle office, or settlements.
- Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle (execution through settlement).
- Exposure to Fixed Income, Equities, FX and/or Derivatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Advanced Excel skills; SQL, Python, VBA, automation or AI experience is a plus.
- APAC market knowledge is advantageous but not essential.
