About our client
Our client is a large asset management arm, of one of the world's largest sovereign wealth funds.
What the job involves
This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate to join its growing team in London, focused on private equity investments. The individual will join the Generalist team (this team does not invest into real estate, commodities or energy). This role will focus on both direct private equity investments and co-investments alongside top-tier private equity partners.

• Involvement in all aspects of the transaction process
• Evaluating and screening investment opportunities
• Developing and analysing financial models as well as assisting with due diligence
• Providing sector-specific insight and actionable intelligence
• Partnering with the sector team in Abu Dhabi as appropriate

Who we are looking for

• This opportunity would be suitable for an individual from a top tier consulting firm, the M&A advisory teams from bulge bracket investment banks or a private equity firm
• Sector generalists will also be considered
• Significant experience building financial models, specifically LBO models
• You should have a degree and / or MBA from a top-tier university. Recent and forthcoming MBA graduates are of interest
• Strong cultural values of mutual support and co-operation
• You must currently have the right to work in the UK
