Our client, a global and reputable asset manager, is looking for a Credit Analyst to join their fixed income research team in London. The role will focus specifically on fundamental research for the food, beverages, and tobacco sectors across EMEA and the US.
Responsibilities:
Generate fundamental research for the industrials sector within global fixed income markets using fundamental analysis to evaluate individual names / stocks across the food, beverages, and tobacco sectors
Use this research to contribute investment ideas that generate positive alpha for clients’ investments
Assess the relative value of the bonds issued as part of the research process
Engagement with ESG analysis in your process
Publish periodic research notes that highlight your recommendations
Design, build, and execute models relating to your sector and research
Act as lead in committees, internally and externally, working with wider teams as well as in team meetings and in client meetings
Act as a subject matter expert for the industrials sector within fixed income
Work collaboratively with traders, portfolio managers, and other analysts
Requirements:
Degree educated or equivalent
CFA Charterholder as preferable
Strong previous experience as a Credit Analyst
Good experience with modelling and relative valuations
Good understanding of fixed income
Experience with the food, beverages, tobacco, or wider fast-moving consumer sectors
