Who We Are Looking For

Quanteam UK are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join a project team within the Fixed Income space, focused on the re-platforming of a Fixed Income notes stack. The scope of the programme spans the full trade flow, covering pre-trade, post-trade, risk management and lifecycle management. The successful candidate will combine business analysis with hands-on Python experience, acting as a link between business stakeholders and technology teams throughout the re-platforming effort.

Key responsibilities:

1. Supporting the re-platforming of the Fixed Income notes stack across pre-trade, post-trade, risk management and lifecycle functions.
2. Gathering, analysing and documenting business and technical requirements for the notes platform.
3. Analysing existing processes and data flows across the notes stack to inform the design of the target platform.
4. Using Python to support analysis, data investigation and validation activities throughout the project.
5. Working closely with business users and technology teams to ensure delivered functionality meets requirements.

Technical Competence

1. Experience as a Technical Business Analyst within the Fixed Income space.
2. Knowledge of Fixed Income notes and their pre-trade, post-trade, risk management and lifecycle processes.
3. Hands-on Python experience applied to analysis and data-related tasks.
4. Experience of working on platform migration or re-platforming projects.
5. Ability to produce clear requirements documentation and translate business needs into technical specifications.
