Position Description:

The Analytics platform team is seeking a quantitative developer to support fixed income products and Beacon platform integration. This candidate will have exposure to a variety of fixed income instruments as well as design and implementation in the firm's Beacon platform. The candidate must possess programming aptitude in C++ and Python as well as product knowledge in fixed income. The development will be in cloud or on-premises. Exposure to an array of new techniques in finance can be expected.

Location: Newport Beach, CA
This role is not in rates modeling but requires constant interactions with rates quants. It includes integration with the firm's Beacon platform and implementation of exotic products in highly comprehensive market scenarios. The development can be in hybrid mode across cloud and on-premises.

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in Computer Science or hardcore engineering with math background. Graduation from a top school is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of working experience in top-tier financial firms; experience in a front office role such as trading support is preferred
  • Extensive programming skill in C++ (STL, boost, design pattern, and C++11/14) and in Python programming as well as component designs in a complex pricing and risk system; this is a hands-on job in a highly productive environment
  • Strong attention to detail with high standards; responsible for the whole development cycle
  • Able to articulate issues and explain to quants and portfolio managers
