Job Purpose

What does an outstanding Client Support Representative do?

If you are the kind of person who has positive relationship and interpersonal skills, enjoys working with clients and troubleshooting issues this could be the job for you.

You will perform very broad and challenging professional and advanced client services tasks to ensure client support and provide happiness through actions to avoid issues, prompt resolution of problems, and develop relationships with clients through visits and telephone calls. You will also research client issues relating to production, quality, delivery schedules, and production specifications.

Responsibilities you can look forward to include:

  • Ensure client support and happiness at a professional level with minimal supervision; answer questions and resolve client issues.
  • Provide first and second level support to clients. Research and analyze problems. Utilize all available tools and techniques to resolve requests without escalation whenever possible.
  • A high level of client focus using your ability to resolve issues with a positive outcome and desire to deliver a high touch engagement with each customer.
  • Use a case tracking system to track information, cases/ tickets, questions and answers for every client-driven request.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of assigned special projects and requests.
  • Prioritize, schedule, and manage case loads of varying quantity for clients.
  • Track and report key performance metrics related to support requests and solution quality. Provide reports and activity logs for management review.
  • Active participation in the testing/validating of change control events, application releases, and/or patch release during off shift change control windows or as necessary to resolve a client impacting issue.
  • Maintain industry and product knowledge to assist in finding creative solutions

Required qualifications for consideration:

  • High School graduate or GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Min 6 years of client support, account management or closely related experience
  • Excellent PC skills with detailed use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work occasional weekends and after hours if production issues occur

  • Fiserv Product Knowledge
  • Deep understanding of industry technology and methodology
