Support Engineer (DevOps / SRE / Production Support)

About the Role

We’re looking for ahigh-performing Support Engineer to join a forward-thinking Development & Engineering team. This role blendsproduction support, DevOps, and modern SRE practices , with a strong emphasis onautomation, observability, and AI-driven operations .

What You’ll Be Doing

1. OwnL2/L3 support across applications, APIs, data platforms, and event-driven systems
2. Leadincident management end-to-end (triage → resolution → root cause analysis)
3. Build and maintainCI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
4. Managecloud infrastructure (Azure) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep/ARM)
5. Enhanceobservability (monitoring, alerting, tracing, dashboards)
6. Automate workflows, runbooks, and remediation processes
7. Supportdata pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and platform operations
8. Collaborate with engineers onproduction readiness and release reliability
9. LeverageAI tools for incident triage, diagnostics, and proactive issue detection

What We’re Looking For

Core Skills

1. Strong experience inproduction support / SRE / DevOps environments
2. Hands-on withAzure services (App Services, AKS, Functions, SQL, etc.)
3. Expertise inCI/CD and deployment strategies
4. Containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes / AKS )
5. SolidPython & SQL for automation and troubleshooting
6. Monitoring & observability tools (Dynatrace, Azure Monitor, Datadog, etc. )

Technical Exposure

1. .NET / C#, APIs, microservices, event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
2. Data platforms (Spark, Databricks or similar)
3. Infrastructure as Code & cloud networking fundamentals
4. Scheduling/orchestration tools (Airflow, Control-M, etc.)

Experience & Qualifications

1. 7–10+ years insupport engineering / DevOps / SRE
2. Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
3. Strong understanding ofITIL processes
4. Experience supportingenterprise-grade systems
5. Background infinancial services or complex data environments (preferred)
