Consumer Equity Research Associate / Vice President

A leading financial institution is seeking an Equity Research Associate / Vice President to join its Consumer sector research team. This professional will support senior research leadership through company analysis, financial modeling, primary research, and the development of investment-focused research for institutional investors.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze companies and industry trends within the Consumer sector.
• Build and maintain detailed financial and valuation models.
• Conduct primary research and gather market intelligence.
• Draft research reports, earnings notes, and industry commentary.
• Monitor company developments, earnings releases, and market trends.
• Support client interactions, investor events, and internal sales efforts.
• Collaborate with senior analysts to develop investment recommendations and market insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in equity research, investment banking, asset management, or a related field.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
• Passion for investing and capital markets.
• Excellent written, verbal, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• FINRA licenses (or ability to obtain them) preferred.
