About our client
Our client, a successful mid-market fund, are currently looking to hire a Finance Manager for their Munich office. Having had an active influence in the European market for over 15 years, the fund is known as a reliable partner consistently increasing its investors returns.The funds main area of focus is on investments into companies within the mid-market space, supporting them with capital, expertise and strategy implementation.
What the job involves

• Supervision of operational management GmbH's and Co-Investment Funds
• Coordination and handling of accounting (invoice and travel expense audits, transfers, implementation of loan agreements, pre-booking) and supervision of external financial accounting
• Account management and liquidity management
• Support in managing operational banking relationships: setting terms and conditions, opening accounts, banking tools
• Supervision of year-end closing work (fast close until end of January)
• Supervision of preparation of tax returns by tax consultants and review in the first half of the year
• Administrative support with regard to e.g. commercial register, transparency register, trade activity, IHK, Bundesanzeiger (Federal Gazette)
• Management of company files
• Reporting and budgeting; direct exchange on this with management and Group Finance Director
• Supervision of operational contracts (e.g. telecommunications, leases) in cooperation with Director Operations and General Counsel
• Insurance: support and monitoring of insurance portfolio (D&O, accident and property insurance)
• Coordination and documentation of capital resources and flows in the case of acquisitions, sales, additional acquisitions, spin-offs, recapitalisations, documentation and maintenance of changes in company law

Who we are looking for

• Background and experience: accounting, controlling, tax issue.
• Experience in working independently and taking over defined areas of responsibility
• MS Office applications and English spoken and written
• Personable, good communication skills and team player
• Accurate, precise and punctual work
• High level of self-motivation and active learning curve
