Java Technical Lead / Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• In charge of revamp project of company systems in modernization agile team using new technologies (Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud, Kafka and CI/CD pipeline).
• Hands-on full stack development, troubleshooting, UAT support, conduct user training, code review and lead HK and maintain China teams to achieve project goals.
• Lead Service Management Team to provide evergreen and BAU maintenance supporting to company systems.
• Provide support and technical advices to different application support teams to maintain high level of service for company's systems. 

Requirements:

• University degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Minimum 6 years of IT system development experience in high availability and critical real-time financial systems, with at least 3 years in a team lead capacity
• Application development experience on real time Java and high performance messaging platform on Linux environment ( PostgreSQL Database )
• Exposure on financial market data systems, interfacing with market data feeds (e.g. exchange data feed, Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg platform etc) and low latency data processing preferred
• Broad understanding of technology trends, e.g. Cloud, API, Microservices and Container technologies
• Strong leadership, proactive, can-do attitude and great sense of ownership
• Good analytical mindset and problem solving skills
• Strong team spirit, quality oriented and attentive to details
• Agile project development experience
• Proficient in both English and Chinese
