This is a brand new role with a global financial services company that has its regional headquarters in HQ. As per of a region wide digital transformation program, my client is looking for a senior product owner that will be responsible for transforming the way the company develops new products across the region. This is an individual contributor role that will report to the regional head of transformation and work closely with distribution, tech and product development teams in the region.
Build the business domain expertise on Human Identity Master Data area and be the go-to-expert for all Asia markets. This includes the area of Client de-duplication.
Product Ownership: Be the Regional Product Owner for Client Identity Authoring and work in close partnership with Market Business Owners for the same. Drive product vision and strategy by deeply understanding the true problem statement / opportunity the product is to address. Lead a team to conduct detailed analysis of current journeys, business process and solution architecture to understand all current existing impediments to delivering against the vision and draw on user insights, research, competitor analysis & design thinking to develop the product vision and value proposition
Product Ownership: Lead a joint team of business and technology colleagues to create, maintain and execute the product roadmap – end to end execution from inception to production to deliver the vision and realise the associated business benefits, whilst conforming to all required internal governance processes
Contribute to the development of Asia Data Ecosystem through Subject Matter Expertise on Client data
Expertise in managing human customer / client /consumer identity (master) data management domain in a large multi-country enterprise. Demonstrated experience in operating strong data governance programs.
Data Leader with a strong understanding of the enabling technologies. Familiarity with at least one of the major MDM tools (e.g. Informatica, Tamr, Websphere) is needed.
Previous experience of working in a product owner role is required
Strong background in technology or business analysis
Deep understanding of the insurance sector and specifically New Business Operations function
Excellent communication skills, able to communicate complex problems and technical solutions to senior stakeholders
Ability to work with and lead diverse stakeholders from across the business and across our markets, driving and motivating multi-disciplined teams and harnessing collaboration
Relentless focus on outcomes with past experience of solution delivery into businesses.
