Accountable for leading the project(s), driving towards the established goals.
Working with the wider project team to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget
Work in partnership with a nominated Service Tower to support their engagements, understanding proposed deliverables and commercials, establishing the project plan to drive a safe mobilization and transition into live service and ensuring the engagement is set up to meet the client requirements in terms of required scope, stated SLA, resource profile and budget, timelines and ensuring risks and issues are appropriately tracked and escalated when required.
Producing monthly delivery reports at a Service Tower & reporting into the Cluster level Programme Boards for all engagements within your span of control. Running all project meetings to ensure actions are progressed and any issues/risks/dependencies are tracked to ensure appropriate mitigation is in place and progress to the plan
Provide estimates for resources required to support full mobilization and transition of an engagement as part of our bid/RFP process. Working in partnership with the Service Tower operational teams
Track the budget for the transition and reporting on actuals v’s forecast in terms of mobilization activities. Championing the use of the Operate quality frameworks to drive the programme excellence through mobilization and operational excellence through Delivery
Drive standardization in our solutions to support high quality, efficient outcomes. Develop robust and trusting relationships within our Operate business, across internal teams and our external client base
Establish project level governance and reporting ensuring that all actions, risks and issues are sufficiently documented and progressed but also understood by all the stakeholders
Degree or above in Computer Science or related discipline, with the certificate of PRINCE / PMP
At least 8 years of experience in IT project management to deliver IT projects on web application development projects and mobile application implementation project. Data conversation, migration, RPA tool or /and other automation solutions (ML, AI, OCR) will be an advantage
Experience of running projects to establish and set up new operational delivery contracts from project start up through to project closure
Priorities work and meet deadlines, managing stakeholders and directing a project team with strong negotiation and influencing skills
Communicate and escalate key issues in a timely manner
Maintain effective communication and good relationships with team members
Excellent organizational and time management skills, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
Experienced with relational database and NoSQL e.g. MySQL,, MongoDB etc. with the ability of database design and optimization
Experience on delivering IT projects to the HKSARG is a plus
A strong understanding of web security and defensive programming techniques. Experienced in conducting threat analysis and security review for the design
Mindset of understanding the real business needs, generating designs to satisfy current and future customer needs
Hands-on experience with one or more back-end programming language/tool, including but not limited to java, scala, node.js, python etc
Excellent English, Mandarin and Cantonese written and spoken skills
