Systems Development Manager (Corporate Cyberbanking) (Job ID: 3364)

Responsibilities

• To be a team member of Information Technology Department
• To act as a project manager on system development projects
• To manage system schedule and cost
• To co-ordinate with end-users, internal departments and external vendors on system project implementation
• To lead a team of SSA / SA and development team to complete projects according to the bank standards
• To manage vendors for system development
• To work with overseas or China offshore development teams for development
• To overview of team resources and prioritize development tasks of the project and BAU
• To review the works and provide support to the development team, which includes:
  • Perform requirement study and analysis, research on new technology and provide technical suggestion
  • Co-ordinate with other system teams in designing and producing end-to-end solution
  • Sound knowledge of infrastructure components which support the system end to end
  • Prepare technical documents and source code review
  • Support of different kinds of testing
  • Coordinate with IT Operations to deploy the system online
• To discover and evaluate new technologies to support business needs and strategy
• To be experienced on Waterfall or Agile methodology

Requirements

• University graduate, preferably major in Computer Science related subjects or equivalent;
• Preferable over 12 years experience in IT sector cover the following:
  • At least 5 years experience in a team lead/management role, preferable with banking experience or channel management;
• In-depth knowledge and working experience of web application design and software development is required;
  • frontend technologies, J2EE, WebSphere, WebLogic, Oracle DB, Linux/Unix/AIX, shell script
• Familiar with interface integration development, REST API design and system integrations
• Experience on DevOps or CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, Git, Jira) and test automation but it is not necessary.
• Experience in working on medium to large scale of projects
• Strong communication skills and risk awareness;
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
