My client is a Singapore leading proprietary trading group, and we are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join the team and work on an in-house platform.

Responsibilities

Develop and enhance new/current features to existing applications used in trading activities.
Apply software development practices and standards to develop robust and maintainable software
Optimize and enhance computational efficiency of algorithms and software design
Drive architectural and operational discussions, and ensure daily operations run smoothly.

Requirements

Minimally 5 years of hands-on programming in Python language and frameworks (Django, Flask, etc)
Extensive knowledge with SQL, and experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong fundamentals knowledge such as OOP programming, algorithms, data structure and design patterns, multi threaded, concurrent programming
Some experience in DevOps practices, tools and CI/CD would be advantageous.

Only candidates who are based in Singapore will be considered.
