Senior Linux Engineer

• Total Salary Package: 145,000 CHF (Maximum, depending on experience)

Only Swiss or EU passport holders or holders of a valid Swiss working permit will be considered. 

Introduction

Working for an established Fintech company in Zug city centre, you will join their small infrastructure team consisting of both Windows and Linux system engineers. With around 30 years of experience, more companies from various sectors are users of my client's solutions, currently used in over 100 countries and on the rise.

Main Responsibilities

• Managing and developing the Linux environments 
• Ensuring trouble-free and permanent operation of the IT infrastructure
• Close cooperation with Windows engineering and with software development
• Backup project management and other IT service functions
• Trend scouting (focus on technology and security) 
• Supporting users 

Required skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent education  
• Several years of professional experience preferably in a similar position/environment
• Profound knowledge of Ansible
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good analytical skills and fast comprehension
• High security awareness
• Entrepreneurial, innovative thinking and acting 
• Excellent English & German skills, spoken and written     
• Team player with experience in working in a small team
