About our client We are working with a leading alternative investment specialist with $80 billion in assets under management and more than 600 institutional clients in 42 countries. An international team of over 600 professionals is responsible for managing a wide range of investment programs focusing on private markets, liquid alternatives and multi-asset class solutions. They are now looking to hire an Consultant Database & Analytics Associate into their Client Services Liquid Markets team.
What the job involves - Responsible for all global and regional consultant databases, and third-party database providers
- Working closely with the consultant relationship management teams to understand the role of each consultant, their strategic importance and the competitive landscape
- Ensuring accurate, high quality and consistent updating of quantitative and qualitative information in multiple consultant databases (eVestment, Mercer GIMD, Camradata, WTW, etc.)
- Adding new products to the consultant databases in close collaboration with Investment Management teams and various other subject matter experts within the firm
- Actively participating and representing the CSLM team in the regular consultant coordination calls
- Collaborating with colleagues regarding the further development of data tools and data quality improvement
- Production of analysis using database analytical tools (competitive analyses, product views, trending product themes, regions, etc.)
- Completing consultant driven questionnaires and ad-hoc requests when required
- Supporting the team in projects
Who we are looking for - University degree, ideally in finance or a quantitative field
- Relevant experience within the asset management industry, ideally in a similar or adjacent role
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, in Word and Excel, including complex spreadsheet development
- Fluent command of English, additional language skills especially German would be considered beneficial
- Efficient and precise working style with high attention to detail in a deadline-oriented environment
- Service-oriented team player with the ability to build good relationships with internal content contributors
- International mindset, self-motivated and ability to work independently
