I am working with a global bank who are looking to hire a Real Estate Loans Syndication Lead (AD/VP or Director level) to build their UK presence from London.

The role:

Originate, structure, distribute and execute syndicated loans in the UK/ Europe market by working closely with the RMs across various business units (Corporate Banking, Global Financial Institutions Group, Structure Trade Commodity Finance, etc) to provide product expertise support.

To be on the ground, go-to DCM Loans person to provide market insights / updates / sentiment and connectivity into the syndicate partner institutions (lenders and arrangers) based in the UK/Europe.

KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENT (Key Performance Objectives)

Strong credit sense and accounting background
Well connected with syndicate lenders and arrangers in the region
Meticulous with an attention to detail in work, writing and financial analysis
Independent worker who is reliable and able to find solutions and think out of the box
A team player who is able and willing to work along with colleagues, especially the RMs
Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure and tight deadlines

Qualifications / Education & Experience

Extensive work experience and a good understanding of the syndicated loan market, familiar with syndicated loan structuring / execution / documentation / distribution and credit analyses
Previous relevant experience in real estate finance and fund finance would be an advantage
