A leading global investment bank is recruiting a FIG M&A Associate to focus on UK and European Insurance (with global crossborder) and some exposure to Specialty and Lenders. It offers a dynamic and friendly environment, deal flow and high exposure.

You will accrue extensive UK and European crossborder M&A deal experience within a full service investment banking setup.

Key tasks

Execution of on-going deals within the group, e.g. M&A transactions, Financing, Capital Markets etc
Supporting senior bankers delivering strategic advice to clients

– Strategic idea generation

– Preparation of pitch book and discussion materials

– Data analysis

– Modelling (operating models, capital models, merger models, LBO, etc.)

Requirements:

A proven background in FIG Investment banking (with a credible investment bank or boutique, prominent corporate or Big M&A team) along with relevant transactional experience
Excellent financial modelling experience (operating models, merger models, LBO, etc )
Experience in buy-side and sell-side M&A
Project management
Strong communications skills: ability to interact confidently with banking professionals and clients
Outstanding analytical skills
Team work
