Our client, a leading global alternative asset management firm, is looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales VP to join their team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in building out the firm’s Credit, EM and other alternative strategies to the rapidly growing UK Wealth and intermediary channel.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Sales strategy to target the firms fund range to clients including Private Banks, Wealth managers, IFAs, DFMs
Communicate investment strategies in the Credit, EM equity and Private Markets space
Work closely with product specialist and investment team
Represent the firm at pitch meetings, conferences, client events
Maintain internal CRM system and ensuring pipeline is accurate and up to date
Drive new business development efforts and identify opportunities to expand relationships with retail platforms
Stay up to date with industry trends and market conditions
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree (min 2.1)
Excellent understanding of UK’s wealth and intermediary landscape
Proven track record of retail sales ideally with a focus on alternatives
Minimum 10 years of Investment management sales experience for an investment manager or Private Bank.
Good grasp of local fund structures (i.e: OEICs, SICAVs; ELTIF/LTAFs would be a plus)
Good understanding of ESG trends and best practices
IMC required, additional qualifications (i.e MBA, CFA, CAIA) would be a plus
Established contacts and knowledge of retail platforms
Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team; thrive in fast-paced, results-driven environments
