About our client

Our client is a global private equity investor that is looking to add a Tax Manager to it's New York Office. This is a brand new position which will focus on supporting the firm's tax reporting matters for their international individual investor base as well as reviewing tax deliverables, handling all tax compliance related queries and actively participating in the development and enhancement of new and existing processes. This is a great opportunity to join a market leading private equity investor and work across tax reporting and tax compliance within a high-performing Fund Operations setting. What the job involves

• Support tax reporting matters for the firms international individual investor base across all business lines including Private Capital and Real Assets
• Review tax deliverables provided by a variety of external service providers
• Handle all tax compliance related queries and discussions from/with the individual investors and focus on improving client experience
• Supervise the regular and timely calculation and distribution of individual investor tax reports
• Actively participating in development and enhancement of new and existing processes and tools
• Collaboration and support in fund tax specific and firm wide local and cross-border projects

Who we are looking for

• Relevant working experience with a big four as part of a tax compliance or tax advisory team, a financial controller or tax lawyer
• Strong knowledge of tax environment and tax principles, previous experience with tax compliance aspects required
• Understanding of Private Equity, carry and waterfall computation models
• Efficient, organised, independent professional attitude and strong communication and personal skills, flexible, well-organised and able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
• Self-starter who is able to prioritise competing work assignments in a global set up with and managing senior key stakeholders
• Quality-driven and structured with attention to details, yet service minded with a "can do" attitude, be one step ahead, effective, proactive
• $120k - $150k + Bonus
