In this role, you will be:
· Participate in the design reviews and build data analytics and reporting platform in the cloud
· Implement batch & near real-time analytical solutions, scalable data pipelines, prototypes, and proofs of concepts
· Implement tools to empower data scientists and analysts
· Develop solutions to maintain data quality
· Mentor junior and medior members of team to follow best practices
· Conduct code reviews
· Work together with data scientists/analysts to build state-of-the-art analytical solutions
· Drive low-level design efforts
The ideal candidate will have:
4+ years of Data Engineering experience
Agile experience and an understanding of CI/CD best practices
Development experience in Spark (Python, Scala or Java)
Experience in End-to-end, near real-time ETL/ingestion pipelines, streams
A working understanding of distributed systems/computing
Knowledge of Data Lakes and Data Warehouses, as well as SQL and NoSQL technologies
Confidence with Microsoft Azure and Power BI
Experience with mentoring Junior Engineers
